In order to honor the contributions made by members dealing with research and evaluation(R&E) work for the city government, a specific award was set in 2013 to encourage staffs to keep up with the hard work, and to increase the quality of service. On March 15, Secretary-general Li Meng-yan presented the award to members performing R&E work extraordinarily reliably.
Secretary-general Li said that the R&E work is far from an easy job. The members responsible for R&E work have to tackle inconvenience and stress when preparing work in advance or supervising case by case afterwards. Those who make efforts behind the screen are worth being encouraged and awarded in public.
After preliminary and final review, there are 5 award-recipients who demonstrate their professionalism, and contribute a lot to the city government in 2016. The name list of award winners is as below: Lu Hui-ling (Household Registration Office of South District),Cho Wen-chun (Department of Health, Tainan City Government), Tseng Sheng-hsuan (officer of REDC, Tainan City Government), Hung Chiang-han (Department of Transportation, Tainan City Government), and Yen Tien-ming (Dong Nan Land Office). Each of them was awarded by a certificate and a merit remark.
