The Unseen Heroes, Research and Evaluation Personnel Award

 

Secretary-general Chen Mei-ling presented the performance award to members dealing with research and evaluation work of the Tainan City Hall. In order to thank the hard work of these members, this award was set in 2013 in order to encourage staffs to keep up with the hard work, and increase the quality of service.

 

After Secretary-general Chen presented the award, she stated that: “The hard work of research and evaluation members isn’t seen easily by others. This award offered a chance for citizens to notice the contribution of these members to this city”. The 5 award recipients demonstrated their professionalism, and contribute a lot to the city government this year. After two rounds of consideration, the 5 award winners are: Kuo Shu-feng (Chief of Transportation Bureau), Shan Chun-mei (Officer of R.D.E.C), Chen Zong-xian (Officer of R.D.E.C), Jian Bo-kang (Officer of R.D.E.C) and Tsai Jing-Fen (Head of Public Health Bureau).

 

Chief Kuo was in charge of improving the bus service and was awarded with the most improved government service award; furthermore, the Haian parking lot ROT case also received award. Officer Shan helped Tainan City to receive the quality of service award this year, and she was in charge in improving the call service quality in Tainan City Government. Officer Chen was in charge of carrying out a 10 million dollar evaluation case, and demonstrated great efficiency. These three members will now join the competition for outstanding research and evaluation personnel competition in National Development Council.
