Yonghua Joint Service Center volunteer team held the launching ceremony of “the action service desk” on the morning of August 8th. Furthermore, the Joint Service Center showed their respect to the elderly volunteers on Father’s Day and appreciated their service.
Although the members of Joint Service Center volunteer team have an average age of 70, with their passion to service and the spirit of giving back to society; they stay on the front line of citizen service providing direct, convenient and friendly guidance and some basic counseling services. Currently, this mobile service desk is available from 8:30a.m. to 9:30a.m. and from 13:30p.m. to 14:30p.m.. The service desk is located in front of the elevators. In the future, we plan to increase the service hours according to the citizens’ demand.
The Joint Service Center volunteer services include: blood pressure testing and wheelchair service. Furthermore, volunteers help citizens solve their problems with patience and help comfort emotional citizens who are here for petitions. With this mobile service desk, volunteer services will get closer to the crowd and will popularize the services offered by volunteers. During the launching ceremony, Minister Zhao, volunteer team leader Liao and Director Guo of Joint service center declared “consideration”, “love” and “action” as the spirits of volunteer service. Through volunteer team’s services, citizens can definitely feel the passion and consideration. Later on, Minister Zhao presented awards to volunteers as recognitions of their excellent service.
Lastly, volunteer team shouted out “Love, Consideration, Mobile Service” as their slogan and started the mobile service under the lead of Team Leader Liao and Vice Leader Tsai.
