The “Taiwan Public Administration’s Introspection and Improvement: Integration of Academic and Reality” event was held at National Taipei University on May 28th. Accompanied with the 2016 annual meeting of Taiwan Association for Schools of Public Administration and Affairs (TASPAA), the open decision procedure for Tainan Feiyan New Village Urban Renewal plan was praised.
This annual meeting invited experts from academia and practice, discussing three topics: “Current Government Challenge”, “Cooperation of Government and Academia” and “Public Administration and Public Affairs Research”. The chairperson of Research, Development and Evaluation Commission, Tainan City Government, Ching-hui Chao, also attended this event and shared the experience of the Feiyan New Village Urban Renewal case.
Tainan City Government had marched a step forward on open government. The government will try hard to keep collaborating and discussing with academia society to make the citizens a prosperous future.
