Tainan City Government supported the “Tainan Digital Creative Park (TDCP) - PunPlace” and held the 4th anniversary and achievement conference on December 9. PunPlace is the first creative park combined “Coworking Space” and “Fab-lab” concepts. This year’s achievement conference was themed with “Open day.” Acting Mayor Li personally participate in the event to encourage adolescents to chase their dream and aim to turn Tainan City into a youth-friendly city.
Over the past four years, Tainan Digital Creative Park has hosted more than 630 tuitions, lectures and exhibitions, attracting more than 9,000 students and helping more than 60 teams make their first step in starting a business so that young people can bring more vitality to Tainan by technology implementation.
Acting Mayor Li indicated that Tainan City government would develop new industries based on the traditional culture to connect Tainan with the world. Acting Mayor Li also hoped the Research Development and Evaluation Commission to keep working on developing the cultural and creative industries as well as encouraging young people to increase the momentum on invention and startup via government mechanism.
